Gilbert's Syndrome
Gilbert’s Syndrome is a condition which is quickly gaining recognition. Gilbert’s Syndrome (GS) is a genetic and therefore inherited condition which is characterized by a defect in the Phase II detoxification enzyme UDP-Glucuronyl transferase (UDPGT) which is responsible for the glucuronidation detoxification pathway in the liver.
